Chiellini Would Absent Three Months

Bad news descend Juventus, One of the flagship defender Giorgio Chiellini, to be absent about three months because of a calf muscle injury. Chiellini injury obtained while following a training session with his colleagues on Wednesday (19/12/2012). Having dealt with the doctors, the 28-year-old defender was adjudged having problems in his calf muscle.


Chiellini had originally hoped the doctors scanned the injury was not too severe. However, he admitted that he was disappointed the results are not what he expects.

"Unfortunately, I have confirmed there is a problem in my calf muscle., So I have to be absent while. However, I will do anything to get back as soon as possible and keep it together," said Chiellini as reported by the Italian Football.

"I am grateful for the many messages wishing me quickly soon recover from this injury," he said.

Chiellini's injury came a few days after his contract Juventus Brazilian defender Lucio. Former Inter Milan player chose to leave because it is rarely played and only superimposed Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli.

Thus, any alleged Juventus will be looking for a new defender in the January transfer window. In the meantime, Martin Caceres is likely to fill the position left by Chiellini.
